Linda Lacewell is coming back to the Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s
administration as chief of staff and counselor, the governor’s office
will announce later today.
Lacewell is returning to the administration after a stint as the
executive director of Cancer Breakthroughs 2020 at the California-based
Chan Soon-Shiong NantHealth Foundation.
Lacewell has served in a variety of advisory posts for Cuomo over the
years, dating back to his time as attorney general, and is credited
with developing the OpenNY government data website. Most recently in
state government she served as a the chief risk officer and was
counselor to the governor.
