By Gary Glennell Toms

In this edition of "The G-Man Interviews", my special guest will share information he obtained about the Atlanta Child Murders over the last 20 years. This is the first time he has spoken publicly about what sources told him, and the revelations will be troubling for many in this country and abroad.

Daryl Davis has obtained unprecedented access to members of the Ku Klux Klan and white supremacist movement for more than two decades. He continues to meet with high-ranking leaders and members from all over the U.S., making him one of the most unique race relations experts and activists in the country.

Davis is an actor, author and lecturer who obtained his Bachelor of Music Degree from Howard University. He's also an accomplished Blues, Rock'n'Roll, Country, and Jazz musician who performs and tours regularly with his own group, the Daryl Davis Band. Davis has worked extensively with the Legendary Blues Band and Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley's Jordanaires, Percy Sledge, and Sam Moore, among others.

As an actor, he has appeared in the critically acclaimed television show "The Wire" and a number of stage plays and movie roles.

He has received acclaim for his book, Klan-Destined Relationships,  and his work in race relations from CNN, CNBC, Good Morning America, National Public Radio, The Washington Post and other respected media outlets.

In 2016, his ongoing effort to persuade Ku Klux Klan members to leave the organization was chronicled in the award-winning documentary "Accidental Courtesy", which received international acclaim.

The interview was conducted on June 29, 2019.

Correction: During the interview, it was stated that 28 of the murders remain unsolved. However, the actual number is 26. As noted in the report, Wayne Williams was convicted in two of the cases.
