House Republican leaders held a briefing with reporters to talk about
their hopes and goals heading into a period when the House, Senate and
White House will all be under Republican control. Speaker Paul Ryan
(R-WI) mentioned his ongoing conversations with officials from
President-elect Donald Trump’s incoming administration, and said he
looks forward to working “hand in glove” with the adminstration to
establish policy goals and an agenda for 2017.
