During official arrival ceremonies on the South Lawn, President Obama
welcomed Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his wife Sophie
Gregoire Trudeau to the White House as part of a state visit. Ceremonies
included a review of the troops, playing of national anthems, a pass in
review, and remarks by both leaders.
