Governor Andrew Cuomo has directed that
flags on state government buildings be flown at half-staff in honor of
former First Lady Nancy Reagan. Flags will be flown at half-staff from March 8, 2016 through the date of interment.
“Born in Queens, Nancy Reagan was committed
to improving the lives of others, and her legacy will no doubt be felt
for decades to come,” said Governor Cuomo.
“As we mourn the former First Lady’s passing, I am directing that flags
on all state government buildings be flown at half-staff to honor her
life and her many contributions to our nation.”
