Civil Rights Groups Show Solidarity with Victims of Hate in National Full-Page Ads

The Jewish Council for Public Affairs (JCPA) joined with the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights and the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, and 83 other civil rights organizations in placing a full-page ad this past Sunday in The New York Times and the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette to show solidarity with victims of recent acts of hate and bigotry in our country.

The ad can be viewed here.

The ad, designed by artist Celeste Jacobs, depicts elements of Pittsburgh, Pa., the location of the recent anti-Semitic mass shooting at the Tree of Life synagogue, and Louisville, Ky., where a white supremacist murdered two African Americans at a Kroger supermarket after the gunman was unable to enter a predominantly Black church.

The groups condemn all acts of hate and urge all victims and witnesses of hate to document their incidents at communitiesagainsthate.org or by calling 1-844-9-NO-HATE.
