British Prime Minister Theresa May reported back to the House of Commons
on the 2018 G7 Summit in Canada. She talked about the main focus of her
talks with leaders of the European Union, the United States, Japan,
Italy, Germany, France, and Canada, including trade, security, and
ongoing international conflicts. She then took questions from members,
many of which focused on President Trump’s recent imposition of tariffs
on aluminum and steel as well as his suggestion that Russia be invited
back to the group of nations after its 2014 expulsion, a response to its
annexation of Crimea.
