Former U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara in is podcast “Stay Tuned” this
morning did not rule out running for attorney general, but said he would
not participate in the process being conducted by the Legislature to
appoint a new attorney general.
“It does have the look and feel of a back room deal and that’s not
something I want to be a part of now,” Bharara said in the opening
remarks on the podcast released this morning. “They should not have a
dog and pony show in the state Legislature.”
