British Prime Minister Theresa May laid out her plans for the U.K. to
formally leave the European Union, commonly known as Brexit. She
announced that Parliament will have the opportunity to vote on the final
Brexit deal and that the U.K. will leave the European single market -- a
move that will allow the U.K. to have more control over the movement of
their goods and services as well as tighter border control. Prime
Minister May stressed that the U.K. would not "hold on to bits of EU
membership".
