The Washington Post hosted a series of discussions on cancer research with experts, including FDA Commissioner Dr. Scott Gottlieb.
Commissioner Gottlieb talked about a number of treatment advances
through the years and what the agency is doing to help move forward
promising clinical trials and cancer drugs to the market. Other topics
discussed included precision medicine, the high cost of cancer treatment
and finding a cure.
