The Jets on Tuesday followed the example of several other NFL teams and pledged $1 million to Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.
The Jets on Tuesday followed the example of several other NFL teams and pledged $1 million to Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.
The
team announced the donation in a tweet. Christopher Johnson, who is
serving as acting owner while Woody Johnson fulfills his duties as the
U.S. ambassador to the United Kingdon, is providing the money “on behalf
of the Johnson family and the Jets" to the American Red Cross.
