STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- While she'll face off against Paul Massey in a
Republican primary later this year, Assemblywoman Nicole Malliotakis
has secured Conservative Party backing in her bid to unseat Mayor Bill
de Blasio.
The chairmen from Staten Island, Brooklyn, Queens and Manhattan endorsed the Republican Malliotakis and issued a joint statement.
"Over the course of her career in the New York State Assembly, Nicole
Malliotakis has been a vocal advocate for conservative principles and
policies in the Empire State," they said. "Assembly member Malliotakis
has been in the forefront of working to cut the high taxes that are a
heavy burden on every taxpayer in our city and state...."
