FPWA Launches “Lift Up NYC” Campaign

FPWA, formerly the Federation of Protestant Welfare Agencies, will launch its inaugural Lift Up NYC campaign on  October 13, from 6 – 8 p.m., at The Cube At Riverpark, 450 East 29th Street.

The campaign aims to harnesses New York City’s community spirit during giving season and to encourage residents to lend a helping hand and give their neighbors the opportunity to overcome adversity and achieve success on a number of levels.

Lift Up NYC will raise funds for FPWA’s advocacy work and gift drive, with the goal of delivering over 25,000 gifts in response to overwhelming requests from New York City’s youth in the hardest to reach communities during the holiday season.

The campaign also encompasses opportunities for corporations and individuals to get involved.
