President Obama and King Abdullah II of Jordan spoke to reporters
following their bilateral meeting about efforts to defeat ISIS, resolve
the conflict in Syria, and the situation in Israel and the West Bank. At
the end of the meeting, President Obama discussed the Supreme Court

constitutional duty. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky)
has pledged no action on any Supreme Court nomination before the
election, saying the decision ought to be left to the next president.
