Joint Chiefs of Staff Chair General Joseph Dunford talked about national
security issues, especially the current plan to defeat ISIL and how he
planed to implement integrating women into military combat roles. After
his remarks he was interviewed by Ms. Flournoy and responded to
questions from members of the audience.
This was the afternoon
keynote address of the Center for a New American Security (CNAS)
inaugural National Security Forum, entitled “Setting the Next Defense
Agenda.” It was held in partnership with Defense One at the J.W. Marriott Hotel.
