The Boston arm of the Black Lives Matter movement has released video of its recent private meeting with Hillary Clinton.
In the exchange, a portion of which appeared exclusively on MSNBC Monday, Clinton was asked about mass incarceration, racial tensions and crime legislation passed under her husband's administration.

The former secretary of state defended her
record, saying, "I've spent most of my adult life focused on kids,
through the Children's Defense Fund and other efforts to try to give
kids — particularly poor kids, particularly, you know, black kids and
Hispanic kids — the same chance to live up to their own God-given
potential as any other kid."
