Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) spoke about his opposition to Trade
Promotion Authority legislation and criticized President Obama's push
for the Trans Pacific Partnership trade deal, saying the agreement could
hurt U.S. businesses. Senator Brown welcomed the Senate's vote Tuesday
that stopped the bill from advancing. "This body delivered one strong
message this week … We cannot have trade promotion without trade
enforcement," he said.
