Statement by the Press Secretary
On Friday, June 8, 2012, the President signed
into law:
H.R. 2947, which releases deed restrictions
placed on a parcel of land conveyed by the United States in 1950 to the State
of Minnesota for an airport;
H.R. 3992, which deems Israel to be a foreign
state whose nationals are entitled to enter the United States as nonimmigrants
to develop and direct the operations of an enterprise in which they have
invested a substantial amount of capital; and
H.R. 4097, the "John F. Kennedy Center
Reauthorization Act of 2012," which authorizes appropriations to the
Board of Trustees of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts for
FYs 2013-2014 and authorizes construction of an addition to the south
end of the Kennedy Center building to be paid for using non-appropriated
funds.
