Santorum: "We Are Not Done Fighting"

MSNBC and various news sources have confirmed that GOP presidential candidate Rick Santorum has suspended his White House bid.

Santorum, accompanied by members of his family and campaign staff, told reporters at an event in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, that he and his family spent last weekend thinking about the campaign, their young daughter, Bella, and her on-going battle with Trisomy 18. 

"Ladies and gentleman, we made the decision to get into this race at our kitchen table against all the odds. We made a decision over the weekend that while this presidential race for us is over, we will suspend our campaign effective today. We are not done fighting," said Santorum.

From The G-Man would like to give the GOP presidential candidate an opportunity to clear the air and submit a written statement explaining the incident.

Hopefully, Santorum won't hide behind his advisers or campaign staffers and will graciously grant this request. 

If Santorum complies, his comments will be published as submitted.
