PBS NewsHour: House Democrats called on fellow lawmakers to support a bill that would
provide $4.5 billion in additional funding to care for migrants who are
detained near the U.S.-Mexico border. Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, Rep.
Katherine Clark and Rep. Veronica Escobar urged Republicans to vote with
them to approve the measure on June 25. The White House has threatened
to veto the bill, which it says includes too many restrictions on border
enforcement.
