Federal agents executed search
warrants at the offices of the economic and community development
departments in Paterson, New Jersey, Thursday in connection with a
federal corruption investigation, law enforcement sources familiar with
the case tell NBC 4 New York.
FBI agents were seen carrying boxes out of city offices at about 11 a.m.
The corruption investigation is looking into how the city used federal
housing and urban development funding, NBC 4 New York has learned.
