Isaiah Edward Robinson Jr. was the first African-American president of the New York City Board of Education. He chaired the Board's Decentralization Committee from May, 1969 to
April, 1970.
Robinson graduated from the Tuskegee Institute Flight
School on November 20, 1945 and was one of the Documented Original Tuskegee Airmen (DOTA).
