Minister Kirsten John Foy, Northeast Regional Director of the
National Action Network, Hazel M. Dukes, New York State President of the
NAACP, and New York City elected officials, clergy, anti-violence
advocates, and youth activists, will demand that Mayor Bill de Blasio
and the New York City Council fully fund the Universal Summer Youth Jobs
program in this year’s $82 Billion budget.
The press conference will take place on the steps of City Hall on June 7 at 4 p.m.
