Two NYU journalism students say they
were racially profiled at a Marco Rubio town hall while on a class trip
to New Hampshire this weekend.
The students,
who are black, were on a class assignment to cover a Rubio town hall
ahead of Tuesday’s New Hampshire primary. Taisha Henry and Ugonma
Ubani-Ebere say they were singled out by Rubio staffers and repeatedly
told to put their cameras away while white students were allowed to film
the event, NYU Professor Yvonne Latty tweeted Sunday.
