European Central Bank head Mario Draghi has been doing what he can to reassure the financial world by hinting that the ECB could be going to provide more stimulus for the eurozone economy.
Turmoil in the markets and concerns over China and other developing
nations will mean a review of the Bank’s monetary policy in March,
Draghi said: “In this environment, euro area inflation dynamics also
continue to be weaker than expected. It will therefore be necessary to
review and possibly reconsider our monetary policy stance at our next
meeting in early March.”
