NYPD Deploys Officers to Sensitive Areas in Wake of Paris Violence

After wave of violence left at least 120 people dead in at least four attacks in Paris, the NYPD has deployed additional units to sensitive locations around the city. 

Heavily armed officers, including the NYPD Operation Hercules teams, were dispatched to the French Embassy, other diplomatic post and sensitive New York landmarks. 

The NYPD Counterterrorism Response Command and Critical Response Group have been dispatched to crowded areas of the city.
