Victims of the World Trade Center terror attacks on September 11, 2001,
were remembered in a ceremony at the National September 11 Memorial
Plaza in New York City. Family members participated in the ceremonial
reading of the victims' names, and six moments of silence were observed,
marking the exact times when the planes hit the towers and the
Pentagon, when each tower fell, and the crash of Flight 93 near
Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
