The feds have listed ways to help students who are immersed in gang life.
In the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention’s (OJJDP) new report,
researchers outlined overall recommendations to help students who are
caught up in gang life — as well as specific advice for schools and law
enforcement to offer support to these kids.
The OJJDP’s task force collected data from 58 boys who were housed in
a 24-hour minimum security camp for males on probation. The boys were
between the ages of 13 and 18.
