Michelle and I are saddened to hear about the passing of Dick Clark. With “American Bandstand,” he introduced decades’ worth of viewers to the music of our times. He reshaped the television landscape forever as a creative and innovative producer. And, of course, for 40 years, we welcomed him into our homes to ring in the New Year. But more important than his groundbreaking achievements was the way he made us feel – as young and vibrant and optimistic as he was. As we say a final “so long” to Dick Clark, America’s oldest teenager, our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends – which number far more than he knew.

News Organizations and Callous Americans "Salivating" Over Actor's Downfall
Okay, folks! It's time to go back to school. By a show of hands, how many out there remember learning about "Pavlov's Dogs" in psychology or science class? What?! Are you kidding me?! Only 25 people responded! That is a damn shame. Well, a video has been posted below to educate those that aren't aware of the theory. Nonetheless, allow me to provide you with a brief overview.
Ivan Pavlov was a Russian mathematician and scientist who became famous as result of series of experiments he conducted on dogs and their digestive system. He noticed that dogs would salivate prior to being served food, but what fascinated Pavlov even more was the response dogs had when they suspected food was on the way.
Pavlov, in layman's terms, began to "play with Fido's head", and would create a stimulus to see if he could get a similar response. In one example, the scientist would ring a bell prior to serving the food. The dogs, as a result of "classical conditioning", eventually began to salivate every time the bell was rung. The dogs were reacting to the notion that food was coming and that their appetites would be satisfied.
America, and those living abroad, I would suggest to you that the sad tale of Hollywood star Demi Moore, like so many celebrities before her, is proof that society has succumbed to classical conditioning. Moreover, the mad scientists conducting this contemporary and crazed experiment are the mainstream media and those that think they have the inside track on Demi Moore and the most intimate details of her life. They don't know a damn thing, and just as Pavlov played with Fido's head, media outlets have reduced millions of people in this country and abroad to a bunch of drooling guinea pigs that can't wait for the next disturbing and juicy tidbit on Moore's personal problems.
I completely understand that the news industry has a job to do and that failing to report on Moore's fall from grace would be frowned upon by the fellow members of the Pavlovian media and the public. I totally get that. What I don't get is the insatiable need for news outlets, including the tabloids, to irresponsibly and relentlessly pursue Moore -- or those closest to her -- to get as much "dirt" as possible. These reckless and unconscionable whores really make me sick, and their actions are a major reason why "From The G-Man" refuses to engage in or showcase these types of stories.
The news directors, executives and publishers that willingly participate in this on-going experiment are soulless and twisted, and they need to be taken to task for their insensitivity and quest for salaciousness. Maybe it's time to "Occupy Hollywood" and go after TMZ-like media outlets, including the paparazzi, and hold them accountable by forcing them to stay in their lane when it comes to celebrities battling addiction and protecting their families. I'll bet the movement would received an enormous amount of financial and public support on that front, especially from members of the Hollywood community.
Many news and pseudo-news sources will claim that they're simply after the truth. Well, I'm telling them that they need to cut the bullshit. If that were truly the case, they would stick to reporting the facts, not comments by alleged associates or friends of Moore -- whose only purpose is to sell her out to the highest bidder -- and wait for the star to come forward and tell her story when she is good and ready!
Furthermore, I want to issue a message to people that have posted unbelievably nasty comments on sites like the Huffington Post regarding Demi Moore. Some people have called Moore a "whiny bitch" and claimed she is to blame for her troubles because her fame and wealth have driven her over the edge. Others have noted that Moore was stupid and should've known better than to marry Ashton Kutcher, who is 16 years younger. These people, more commonly known as dumb-assess, need to shut their mouths and realize that pain is pain, no matter who's experiencing it.
The statement Moore publicly made about the fear that she may be "unlovable" resonated with not just millions of women going though or emerging from a severe break-up or divorce, but millions of men as well. Pain is pain, people. It's just that men are less likely to admit how much they're hurting. They'd rather drown themselves in a sea of booze and vaginas -- or penises, if they're gay -- in effort to escape the pain. If people are going to scrutinize Moore for how she's choosing to deal with her pain, I suggest they look in the mirror, first. Pain is pain, people! How many times do I have to say it?
As far as the vicious comments that have been posted on the Internet, the only people that deserve to comment on the private life of Demi Moore are those that love her, unconditionally, and have her best interest and safety at heart. Anyone outside of this community needs to mind their damn business and leave her and her family alone. Ms. Moore, Mr. Willis and Mr. Kutcher: If you're looking for an ally in media, now you've got one.

Jury Verdict of Involuntary Manslaughter Handed Down in the Death of Michael Jackson
MSNBC and other news sources are reporting that Dr. Conrad Murray has been found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson. Details are still coming in from various sources, and From The G-Man will provide more information as it becomes available.

"From The G-Man" Requesting J-Lo and Others Offer Reward, As 15-Year-Old Clings to Life
A week ago today, Yvette Marie Torres, a feisty and lovable, 15-year-old student at DeWitt Clinton High School in the Bronx, was shot in the head after a confrontation with two young men. The men were denied access to a party that Torres attended earlier, and they chose to express their displeasure and outrage by firing guns in the air.
Torres approached and berated them for acting in a foolish and reckless manner, which is probably something very few New York city residents would have the courage to do.
At a time when teen flash mobs and gang-related shootings are erupting all over the country, Yvette Marie Torres spoke out for not just the decent and good people of the Bronx, but for every person in the United States concerned about crime and street violence in America.
"She's a fighter and she hasn't given up. She's fighting hard to stay with us," said a close family friend -- who asked that his identity not be disclosed.
Torres has been clinging to life since the early morning hours of June 12. Her battle has intensified, as "The Brave One" -- again, who is only 15 -- is now in a medically-induced coma. I'll say it again. Yvette Marie Torres is now in a medically-induced coma, and that should have every parent that loves their child, and every law-abiding resident in the country, outraged beyond words.
"Her mother has not left her bedside and is not talking to anyone," said the family friend.
"She is still in a state of shock and has prayed non-stop. She cries every day for her daughter, and the parents are angry that no one has been willing to come forward or cooperate with police in the investigation. It makes no sense. Someone saw something, he concluded."
Apparently, the "snitch rule" is in full effect on the streets of the Bronx and other New York City boroughs, and no one is going to understand the real danger associated with this "gangsta" and ghetto-sanctioned rule until their mother, father, two-month-old sister, 10-year-old brother, aunt, uncle or 92-year-old grandmother becomes a victim of senseless violence.
The Brave One's parents need your prayers, but they also need your help. From The G-Man is urging anyone with vital information on the case to contact the 46th Precinct at (718) 220-5211. This news site would also like to enlist the help of Jennifer Lopez and other Bronx-born celebrities by respectfully requesting that they donate reward money toward the capture of the shooter.
Like the family friend indicated, someone saw something. If there's one thing that will force people to ignore the stupid snitch rule and get them talking, it's money!
Finally, From The G-Man is demanding that the national media start reporting on this story, considering the selfless act The Brave One undertook and the price she paid for doing so. The parents don't want to talk to the media or anyone else, which is perfectly understandable. However, that shouldn't prevent news organizations from providing some form of coverage and making the country aware of how a young girl tried to make the world a better place.
You folks never have a problem sticking a camera or microphone in the faces of Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton, The Situation, Snooki or Justin Bieber when they do things that are completely meaningless to millions in the country. But when a 15-year-old Latina from the Bronx literally takes a stand for what's right -- and for Homeland Security, in a sense -- and ends up on life support, it only gets spot coverage. There is something very, very wrong with that.
I'll say it one more time. Yvette Marie (The Brave One) Torres is now in a medically-induced coma and fighting for her life. The question is......how many are going to come forward, finally, in order to help her and her family?

It was 1955 when the American television audience was introduced to a lovable group of characters known as “The Honeymooners”, which starred Jackie Gleason, Art Carney, Audrey Meadows and Joyce Randolph. Gleason, who was in charge of production, portrayed Brooklyn bus driver Ralph Kramden, a hapless spirit in search of his next big break or investment scheme. His best friend, Ed Norton, was a bumbling sewer worker who wasn’t exactly blessed in the brains department. Their wives, Alice and Trixie, may have seemed subtle in their roles, but they frequently kept their husbands in check or got the upper hand in each episode.
This was also the year that the civil rights period was launched. On December 1, a weary seamstress named Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat to a white man on an Alabama bus. Parks was actually sitting in the “colored” section when the driver ordered her to move. She was well within her rights to remain seated when the monsters called racism and segregation reared their ugly heads and attacked. Parks, like the biblical David, stood up to the beasts and issued the initial blow in the form of defiance. As a result, a force of one became an army of thousands. A Black brigade came forth and boycotted the Alabama bus system, and within a year or so they managed to slay these evil beasts.
I recently caught an episode of The Honeymooners. I laughed hysterically, as usual, but this time I actually stopped and analyzed Ralph Kramden’s character. I thought about the fact that he drove for the Gotham Bus Company and would have no problem getting in someone’s face if they pissed him off. He may have come off as a loose canon in each episode, but he was always levelheaded, kind, and reasonable in the end. Moreover, I don’t think Ralph had a racist bone in his body. Why do I say this? Well, any man that was willing to admit that he grossly misjudged someone and their culture, as he did in the episode with “Carlos”, the Mambo dancer, you have to believe that man was on point when it came to race.
The bus segregation that Rosa Parks fought against was commonplace in southern states. However, if it had been a common practice in New York City, and had Gleason decided to tackle the issue in an episode, I strongly believe Ralph would’ve defended his Rosa Parks-like character. More than likely, Ralph would’ve gone as far as to tell anybody that hassled the character, “Keep it up pal and you are gonna get yours!”

Undoubtedly, the other characters would've stood firmly behind him. Alice and Trixie gave you the impression they were always willing to engage in “girl talk” with anyone, and Alice frequently associated with people in her building. “Mrs. Manicotti.”, an Italian neighbor, is a perfect example. The wives probably would have wasted no time inviting Parks over for dinner upon hearing about the incident. With Ed Norton, you always got the sense that he was cool with everybody; especially if they had a refrigerator that was always fully stocked. He probably would have summed up the situation by saying, “Geez! You did the right thing there, Ralphie Boy! It’s like we say down in the sewer. White or Black, we all smell the same at some point!”
If Gleason had been able to write and produce such an episode, it would've been a monumental television event. I'd like to think that he considered it, but given the state of race relations in the country at that time, and the fact that he couldn’t risk angering the CBS station managers during the show’s first season, he may have been forced to dismiss the idea. I believe Gleason would've written the episode, and I offer the following as proof.
“Keeping Time: The Life, Music and Photographs of Milt Hinton” is an amazing documentary film that chronicles the life of legendary jazz bassist Milt Hinton. Hinton, who died in 2000 at the age of 90, played with Cab Calloway and other legends of the Big Band era. The documentary noted the following: “After the disbanding of the big bands, many Blacks were not able to get work as studio musicians because of the racist belief that they could not read music. Hinton became one of very few Blacks to break the color barrier and secure a job as a studio musician thanks to a chance meeting with longtime friend Jackie Gleason. Gleason insisted that Hinton join his television show orchestra.”

Furthermore, Gleason, who had an intense love for jazz, frequently showcased Black artists, such as Nat King Cole, when he hosted The Jackie Gleason Show. Airing in 1952, the show made Gleason a national star and provided exposure for many Black stars that were shunned by other networks and shows. Based on these revelations, I'm more than confident that if Gleason had written the controversial episode, the legendary, tough-talking Ralph Kramden would've stared down racism while uttering those immortal words...“Bang, Zoom!”

This is the moment all of my G-Fans have been waiting for. The premiere of my new Internet show, "From The G-Man", is here! It is an extension of my popular news and media blog. I would appreciate it if you all could put some time aside to check it out, share your thoughts, and forward it to as many people as possible to help me get exposure for it.
The G-Man's very first special guest is the multi-talented and controversial stand-up comedian April Brucker. The interview will certainly make many people, in and outside the world of comedy and entertainment, sit up and take notice. Brucker pulls no punches when discussing her previous bout with alcohol and prescription drugs, in-fighting between female comedians, the "dark side" of comedy, the Conan O'Brien/Jay Leno/NBC debacle, “safe comedians” Bill Cosby and Jerry Seinfeld, and the late, great shock comedy legends Bill Hicks and Sam Kinison.
This is one powerful episode you won't want to miss. Keep in mind that it was my very first show, so I was a little nervous and unsure of myself. I'm certain I'll get better with each show. This never would've been possible without the love and support of my growing fan base. NBC Could Make Comic Scapegoat in "Tonight Show" Demise
The following is an open letter to legendary comedian Jay Leno:
Dear Mr. Leno,
I hate to say it, but I knew this experiment was doomed right from the start. The G-Man had a gut feeling that ‘The Jay Leno Show” would bomb simply because NBC programming execs can’t seem to do anything right. They figured it would be a good idea to air the show a few months after you handed the reigns of “The Tonight Show” to Conan O’Brien. It amounted to nothing more than an exercise in futility, and it’s because of decisions like this that NBC’s ratings are in the toilet with yesterday’s lunch.
My “G-Fans” know me as a straight-shooter, and given the fact that you work in an industry overrun with backstabbers, bullies and bullshitters, I’m sure you will appreciate a little hardcore honesty. Please listen up because the proceeding paragraphs are extremely important. Hopefully, they will help you form a decision about not only your legacy, but Johnny Carson’s as well.
The G-Man was rooting for you, and I really wanted the show to succeed. I’m sure the majority of your fans did, too. Unfortunately, what you, Kevin Eubanks and the writing team gave us was “The Tonight Show Lite”, and many are still reeling from the bitter aftertaste. You did have your moments, like the powerful interview segment with Kanye West, but it apparently became an uphill battle from that point on. The deal was done, and the NBC “suits” probably didn’t want you to deviate from the show’s format. Your hands were tied, but the viewers’ thumbs were squarely placed on the remote.
NBC hasn’t confirmed anything regarding your show, Conan O’Brien’s future, or the rumors that are circulating in Hollywood and on the Internet. The only thing they’ve said is that no decisions or announcements will be made until after the Winter Olympics in February. One rumor says that NBC is planning to move your show to the 11:30 time slot. If that happens the network will be placing you in a really jacked up position. Mr. Leno, if you accept the offer, you will technically alter "The Tonight Show’s" history, time slot and following. Is that something you would really welcome?
UPDATE: January 10, Pasadena, California - Yahoo News has reported that NBC Universal Television Entertainment Chairman Jeff Gaspin said Sunday that Leno's nightly prime-time show will end with the beginning of the Winter Olympics on Feb. 12.
I’m sorry, but ratings don’t lie. Conan O’Brien sucks in the current time slot, and if NBC pushes the show back an hour in favor of your show, I guarantee you that no one is going to stay up past 12:05 to watch a pale imitation of the Tonight Show! In America, you don’t mess with tradition. Correct me if I’m wrong, but that’s a major reason why you ride Harleys, right? I really don’t know you, but I suspect you would not want to destroy Johnny Carson's legacy and would respectfully decline such an offer from NBC. In my honest opinion, that would be the right thing to do.
I just don’t’ understand the suits over at NBC. I really don’t, Mr. Leno. Even with David Letterman’s parading penis problems, he is still managing to kick Conan O’Brien’s ass in the battle for late night supremacy. If execs were really serious about reclaiming their Tonight Show fan base and number one ranking, there’s a very simple way to do it. If I were the head of NBC, I would take a page out of the master’s playbook, Johnny Carson, and rotate the host Monday through Friday. For example, Monday: Billy Crystal, Tuesday:Robin Williams, Wednesday: Whoopi Goldberg, Thursday: Jerry Seinfeld, Friday: Eddie Murphy.... ect. Show a little courage and innovation, and get rid of the idea of having a regular host.
If NBC moves "The Tonight Show....with Conan O'Brien" to a 12:05 time slot, it could signal the end of an American institution...and Johnny Carson's legacy.
The ratings could also be kicked up a notch by rotating actors - Tom Cruise, Jack Nicholson or Denzel Washington - and musicians – Queen Latifah, Lady Gaga or the Jonas Brothers. I would imagine scores of big-name celebrities would jump at the chance to host. Here's the best part. It could be set up in a way that the public and the entertainment industry would never know who the host would be from one night to the next! It would be a complete surprise, and that would be the big hook to make people tune in each night. A move like this would likely expand the show’s creative boundaries, its demographic and completely revamp the show for a new generation.
Now, if you reach out to certain celebrities and they bitch about “pitching in” to help maintain the legacy, especially the ones that Carson introduced to America, then NBC could step in and remind them that they wouldn’t have a damn career were it not for the Tonight Show. Period! Doing the show this way would also ensure that there is a little something for everyone, instead of shoving Conan O'Brien’s brand of comedy and entertainment down America's throat. For the record, I think O'Brien is an extremely gifted writer and comedian, but the ratings have proven that his brand of schtick just doesn't work with the general public. If he truly cares about the Tonight Show and Carson’s legacy, he’d put pride and ego aside and do what’s right for the show and NBC if ratings continue to tank. You don’t force a dog to walk if its hind legs are severely broken.
Mr. Leno, I’m just a journalist/writer with a little blog that’s trying to obtain a larger fan base and creative writing opportunities. I don’t expect the suits at NBC or anyone in the entertainment industry to listen to me or take this article seriously, but they will listen to you. Therefore, I urge you to consider all that I have stated in this letter. Don’t allow yourself to be guinea pig in another failed experiment. Instead, cut a nice “walk-away” deal with the network to end your show and help save an American institution by becoming an adviser or creative consultant for NBC. If anyone is capable of giving the Tonight Show one hell of a surge in the ratings, it’s you. That’s why Carson picked you in the first place.

Company Stands By Tiger Woods & New Game
It seems that at least one Tiger Woods sponsor agrees with The G-Man. In recent weeks, a number of corporate sponsors ran or distanced themselves from the golfing legend because of his admitted infidelity. I blasted them in a previous article, Tiger Woods: Protecting an Endangered Species, and explained why they were wrong to dump Woods in such an abrupt and callous fashion. Well, Peter Moore, President of Electronic Arts (EA Sports), has publicly announced that the company has decided to support Tiger Woods by moving forward with plans to release its new PGA Tour Online game, which prominently displays Woods’ name and image.
Moore issued the following comment on the company’s blog on January 4. “Our relationship with Tiger has always been rooted in golf. We didn't form a relationship with him so that he could act as an arm's length endorser. Far from it. We chose to partner with Tiger in 1997 because we saw him as the world's best, most talented and exciting golfer." Without question, Moore is a brilliant businessman whose balls are as big as his bank account.
Moore and the members of his Board of Directors took one hell of a risk in deciding to stick by Woods, and they all get major kudos from The G-Man for doing so. They placed the focus squarely on his athletic abilities and phenomenal contribution to the sport of golf. Brilliant decision! The sniveling cowards over at Accenture, AT&T and Proctor and Gamble sucked down that Jim Jones-media Kool-Aid, succumbed to the fear and ignorance that was generated within the New York Stock Exchange, and turned their back on man that also has an outstanding charitable record. Asshole decision! These guys couldn’t find their balls if they were carrying them in their briefcases.
Quite frankly, I hope the dorks choke on the Kool-Aid and their decision. They all will be very, very sorry. Remember this, folks. They pissed on Vanessa Williams’ Miss America crown when racy Penthouse photos of her surfaced back in 1984. She lost the crown and a number of potentially lucrative endorsements, but she rebounded from all the controversy and went on to earn Grammy, Emmy and Tony nominations. Mark my words. Tiger Woods will give an interview at some point, tee-off on all those who left him for dead, and eventually reclaim his status as a beloved humanitarian and the greatest golfer on the globe!
In closing, I just want to say something to many, not all, of the dickhead news directors at the major cable and network stations. Tiger Woods gets caught dipping his sand wedge in the grassy knoll and you provide 24-hour coverage; including interviews with the no-good, gold-digging she-devils that decided to come forward after all this time. Famed actor Charlie Sheen pulls a gun on his wife, threatens to “shoot the bitch” and it gets as much coverage as Regis Philbin in Atlantic City on New Year’s Eve!
What the hell is wrong with you ass-clowns? Oh, my bad! I just figured it out. Getting ass on the side takes precedence over extreme violence against women. Nice! They actually give you people journalism awards for this shit, too? I guess Sheen would’ve had to actually kill his wife in order to get as much coverage, if not more, as Tiger Woods got. Am I right? Don’t bother answering. I wouldn’t want to disturb you from mixing up some more of that nasty ass Kool-Aid that you’ve become so fond of.

Every now and then, The G-Man gets knocked around like a big, fat piñata because of positions he’s taken or for slamming politicians and celebrities. Sometimes, I even got my feelings hurt. Yeah, right! The truth is the attacks never really bothered me because I was always confident that something would happen to validate the comments or vindicate me. Ladies and gentlemen, the current situation regarding legendary golfer Tiger Woods has vindicated me…. once again.
Woods, like so many other wealthy saps, has become the latest victim of what I refer to as “the curse” or “the three pees”. Once details of the Woods incident started to emerge, I suddenly realized I wrote an article about Woods a number of years ago entitled “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Racists”. I pulled the article from my archives and was absolutely stunned because the article contained a dire prediction for Woods that has, unfortunately, come to pass. I have taken the liberty of posting the article below. Brace yourselves for a prediction that was made more than eight years ago.
“Crouching Tiger, Hidden Racist”

Let’s hear it for Tiger Woods! In past years, this darling of the media has made all the right moves to become one of the most beloved superstars in the world of sports. I guess you could call him the Michael Jordan of golf. He has changed the game as we know it, and many say that he is just starting to reach his golfing potential. I’m not so sure about that, given his poor performance in recent competitions.
The fact that Woods has reached legendary status, while still in his youth, is a scary thought. However, there is something much more frightening within the world of golf, and I don’t think Tiger can be considered a true hero until he is willing to speak out against this ugly reality. Many of the major tournaments, like The Masters or The Bob Hope Classic, are often played on some of the most beautiful and breathtaking courses in the country. The lakes are crystal clear. The grass is emerald green. The sand is a sparkling yellow, and the people who are exclusive members are as white as the driven snow.
The sponsors and beneficiaries of these courses and clubs also tilt in favor of the Caucasian persuasion, and they have made it abundantly clear that no other groups are welcomed. This is the dirty little secret of the golfing world, and no one has every really addressed it in the cowardly American media. So, The G-man is going to tee-off on the subject. Four!!!!
There are a number of complaints and lawsuits on record that clearly illustrate how racism is alive and well throughout the golfing circuit. While most involve the smaller courses around the country, charges have been brought against clubs that have hosted major competitions in the past. The lawsuits, filed by the Anti-Defamation League and the NAACP, charged that certain clubs and organizations excluded Jews, Asians and African-Americans from becoming members. The suits also revealed the staggering percentage of white memberships versus minorities, which was somewhere in the area of 95 percent to a paltry 5 percent.
The most astonishing aspect about all this is the fact that many of the members staunchly defended their position to keep the clubs exclusively white. They claimed it was part of a tradition or some nonsense. Sadly, this is probably the sentiment of a good number of people who enjoy these so-called exclusive memberships. I am amazed at the level of hypocrisy with regard to the "acceptance" of Tiger Woods by the golfing world.
I watched the spectators cheer wildly, most of them white, when he sank the putt to capture his first Masters trophy. I could not help asking myself, "Why do they embrace him so easily and deny others of color an opportunity to ever play on their courses?" Is it the fact that he is successful? Is it the fact that he has made millions and could possibly to become the first billionaire in the world of sports? Is it because he is the product of an interracial union, which gives them this silly notion that he really isn’t black? Is it because he exclusively dated white women, married a Swede, or dyes his hair blond on occasion? If it is the money and status, then that’s a bunch of crap because there are plenty of Jews, Asians and African-Americans who have both and they still aren’t allowed access.
I am not "hating" on Tiger Woods. I’m proud of his accomplishments, and he is an outstanding role model for young people all over the world. However, I take issue with the fact that he has chosen to ignore an aspect of golf that is so painfully obvious for many inside and outside of the sport. He has all the praise and accolades that he could ever obtain in life, but he would be a true hero and leader if he simply came out and addressed this issue. Imagine the impact it would have on society if he said something like the following:
"While I have managed to break new ground and records in the sport of golf, there are those who have been excluded from the game, and they have not had an opportunity to develop their full potential as golfers in the pro and amateur circuits. This cannot continue, and I ask that people in all facets of the golfing circuit work to insure that this practice is halted."
Granted, his words may fall on deaf ears, and he may even lose a number of endorsement deals, but to hell with that! At the very least, a light would be shed on a very serious problem within the sport he has literally transformed.
Finally, I would like to offer an additional piece of advice to Tiger Woods. As quickly as you have been embraced by the white masses, more specifically the white media, you must remember that they will turn on you just as quickly if you allow yourself to become "Simpsonized". There are some striking similarities between you and O.J., and you could find yourself in the role of villain if you’re not careful.
People started out worshipping O.J. too, but the minute he jacked up it was all over! Don’t let success, fame, fortune and hype destroy you like it did O.J. You are much higher on the fame, respect and status meter than "The Juice", but that only means that you will fall faster and harder than he ever did the minute something negative or extremely controversial impacts your life; such as allegations that you beat your former girlfriends or being accused of rape by a beauty pageant contestant. Don’t ever forget why you got into the game or where you came from. If you remain true to yourself, you will never stray off course.
Looks like I nailed it, again, didn’t I? Tiger Woods has given new meaning to the term "sinking the putt".

World-Renowned Numerologist Urges Caution in 2010!

Born and raised in Harlem, New York over 60 years ago, the incomparable Lloyd Strayhorn is a proud resident of what he calls “a community of change”. Strayhorn attended Public Schools 133 and 68 in Harlem and later graduated from George Washington High School. Ultimately, he received a bachelor's degree in Sociology from Virginia Union University.
Shortly after graduating college, Strayhorn returned to New York and worked at Harper’s Bazaar Magazine, CBS Radio and Television and Connecticut General Life Insurance Company. His diverse media background and intense work ethic led him to the offices of Inner-City Broadcasting Company. It was here that he developed a loyal following as a radio personality and served as a spiritual guide for millions of listeners for more than 25 years.
From the time he launched his career, Strayhorn devoted himself to his fans and mission by freely giving his time to lecture at numerous elementary and high schools and rehab centers. Always using numerology as a backdrop, he continues to encourage everyone to become better by seizing control of his or her actions, lives and careers. At one point in his career, Strayhorn authored three popular books, including the best selling “Numbers and You”, and wrote numerous magazine and newspaper articles on numerology.
The renowned “astro-numerologist” is the father of six children and a grandfather of four. However, after facing several periods of economic hardship, this self-supporting elder and stalwart of the literary, radio and television community has watched the majority of his assets erode.... and finds it challenging to live without some form of assistance.
This article is being written as a tribute to a man that has shared his knowledge and wisdom with generations of fans for the last three decades. Strayhorn is not only revered in the urban-radio community, but in communities all over the country and the world. With that said, it is with great honor, ladies and gentlemen, that I now present my exclusive and riveting interview with the one and only...Lloyd Strayhorn.
G-Man:At what age did your fascination with numbers and numerology begin?
Strayhorn: My fascination with numbers and numerology began around 1969. Before that I was very much into astrology, which is a study of the planets and their zodiac signs. I think what really got me hooked, however, was the simplicity of numerology. About 99% of it is basic addition. So, if a person said they were born on the 25th the month, the process would be 2+5=7. Therefore, this individual would be considered a number 7 person. It's just that simple! Yet, the study of numerology is never ending. After many years of practice, application and authoring books on the subject of this ancient and metaphysical art, I’m still learning as I go along.
G-Man:Numbers have always had cultural significance throughout the ages, particularly when looking at the ancient Babylonians and Egyptians. Can you provide a brief overview as to why?
Strayhorn: Numbers have always had important significance not only in cultures around the world, but also in life itself, period. In other words, whether it was ancient Egypt, Babylon, Chaldea, Rome, Greece or up to modern times as we know it, numbers have always played a significant role in culture and society. Of the ones just mentioned, the systems of numbers and numerology that seem to have had the most impact comes from Chaldea and Greece. Here in the West, for example, there are two schools of numerology that are considered the most popular. The first is the Chaldean system; a system of numbers that goes from 1 to 8. The second is the Pythagorean system, which goes from 1 to 9. The Chaldean system is often referred to as Mystic Numerology and the Pythagorean system is referred to as Modern Numerology.
G-Man:As I understand it, there is a number system by which people are characterized and their personalities assessed. How does this work?
Strayhorn: The system or method that characterizes and assesses one’s personality works on the premise of taking a person’s name and their date of birth. For instance, the person’s name in numerology denotes their natural talents, gifts, skills and abilities, regardless of their educational background. Basically, you take each letter in a name and transpose them into numbers. Adding the month, date and year to determine ones destiny, in terms of what they are here to learn in their present existence, however, is the method used in examining a person’s birthday. It is one’s date of birth that denotes their best days out of the week, their best dates out of the month; and their best months out of the year. And that’s just for starters! However, the subject of numerology is really extensive when you get into it.
G-Man:Okay, let’s put this baby to the test. My birthday is October 25, 1962. I was born at 1:10 pm in Shelby, North Carolina. What does that reveal about “The G-Man” and does it reveal anything in the way of a Pulitzer Prize in the near future? (Smiles) Don’t hold back.
Strayhorn: (Laughing) G-Man, you are a Scorpio 7 person with your rising or ascending sign in Capricorn - a 10th house career indicator - and your moon is in the Cardinal sign of Libra. Simply put, astro-numerically speaking, you are a water sign, with a water number, indicating deep feelings, intuitions, hunches and emotions. So, this may explain the passion that you put into things that are close to your heart. Your rising sign in Capricorn, which rules the house of career, explains your enterprising personality. Your moon in Libra adds balance, attraction and assistance to help you along the way!
Your important numbers are the 7, 2 and 6, while Monday and Friday are generally your best days out of seven. When I added your month, date and year of birth together, it totals to an 8 “destiny number”. The destiny number simply indicates what “grade” you are in the school of life this time around. . .and therefore what lessons you are presently here to learn and master before moving on to the next. The rule is, if you don’t learn the lessons prescribed in this present existence, you may have to come back and repeat the lessons over again. And since you’re in a business enterprise with your popular blog and other writings now anyway . . .there’s no question you’ve been learning your lessons very well. (Laughing)
G-Man:Okay, now that you've totally freaked me the hell out with your accuracy, let's move on, shall we?You’ve made some amazing predictions that came true over the years using numerology. For those who may not be familiar with your work, please mention a few of the ones you gained prominence from.
Strayhorn: Yes, I’ve made what I thought were some pretty interesting predictions that I usually put in some form of writing, via newspaper columns, or by way of radio/TV appearances. Some include the Washington Redskins Super Bowl XXVI on January 26, 1992 (radio/ABC-TV); the New York Giants Super Bowl XLII on February 3, 2008 (radio); the attempted assassination of President Ronald Reagan (news column-November 1980); the election of New York’s first black mayor, David Dinkins, (radio/news column-two parts - 1990); the election of New York Mayor Mike Bloomberg (radio/news column, November 2001); the election of President Obama (TV- September 20, 2007 - 14 months before the actual election!) The Obamaprediction was also made on radio, in several news columns and my blog. These are just a few of the many predictions I’ve made over the years.
G-Man:That is an extremely impressive track record.Now, correct me if I’m wrong, but “The Grim Reaper” has never had a stranglehold on the world like it has in 2009. There have been a record number of plane crashes and mishaps where the death toll is in the thousands. The swine flu has sickened millions worldwide and threatens to kill thousands more before the year ends. Moreover, some of the greatest celebrities in the world died this year. I’ve often disliked the number 9 because I truly believe it is a death number. Is there any truth to that, given the disasters and shocking fatalities of 2009, thus far?
Strayhorn: Actually, 8 is considered the “death” number since its ruled by the planet Saturn, the planet associated with death or rest from labor. 9, on the other hand, is associated with endings, finality and dreams come true, just to name a few. 9 is also considered a “health” number. For instance, when Michael Jackson passed away earlier this year, he was in a 9 personal month for June. And in his case, the 9, according to his birthday, is his direct opposition number. He was even passing through a health week as the time of his death. But remember, when adding 2009, it adds to an 11; and 1+1=2. 2 is governed by the Moon, which has its sway over the masses. Perhaps that may in part be the reason for events we’ve experienced so far this year.
G-Man:Have you ever done an analysis or reading where the revelations were so frightening that you kept them secret? If so, without revealing the details, what or whom did it involve?
Strayhorn: Fortunately, I’ve never had that experience as such. Yes, there were times where the aspects of the individual did not look favorable at all and I expressed that to them. But never in the sense where the person shouldn’t get out of bed that day. When people come to see me they expect insight, but more importantly, they expect honesty and I give them that. And of course, some charts read better than others.
G-Man:This is a follow up question, and it may make you uncomfortable. Please do your best to respond. You’ve done readings on hundreds of celebrities during your illustrious career. At any point, did you ever do a reading that indicated Michael Jackson would die in 2009?
Strayhorn: No, G-Man. Besides, my role on planet earth is not to predict who will be here today or the next. This includes Michael Jackson. However, had I, at some point earlier in the year been asked about him, I certainly would have pointed out the fact he was passing through a health cycle for June, especially during the latter part of the month, since he was passing through a health cycle the week of the 22nd as well. I suspect, G-Man, if I got into the business of who lives or dies on a certain day, the Creator would call me home the following day because only one of us can perform that task.
G-Man: Over the last two years, I’ve done special investigative reports on and interviewed prominent leaders of the Ku Klux Klan and so-called “White-Power” groups. During my investigation, I discovered an alarming number of people are worried that white supremacists will assassinate President Barack Obama. As you know, federal agents have arrested a number of people associated with these groups for vowing to kill the president. What does numerology reveal about the seriousness of the threat and the safety of President Obama and his family?
Strayhorn: I have to reluctantly agree with you regarding the negative climate in certain pockets of the country. Imagine, openly bearing arms at town hall meetings . . .when the issue is about health, of all things and questioning the President’s birthplace. By the way, the latter tells me that a lot of folks don’t know the history of their own country. It’s as if a climate of hate is being fostered and encouraged, and that’s not good in anyone’s book! Looking ahead at the President's chart, he will be entering his opposition cycle of 6 for 2010, which technically kicks in, in the Fall of ‘09. 6 is not only the Presidents direct opposition number to his 4 (born on the 4th of August), the 6, like the 9 is also a health indicator. Now, it doesn’t necessarily mean something drastic towards the President, but it does suggest there are periods during the course of next year where a degree of caution should be exercised.
Let me be very clear. If a member of his staff came to me regarding the President's forecast, I would suggest keeping a lighter schedule on Fridays and Saturdays; especially during the months of January, May and October, and the days leading into them. As for 2010, however, caution is urged during the following months: March, especially the week of the 22nd; July, especially the week of the 8th (when the President is passing through his 52 day “critical cycle” just before his 49th birthday); September, during the week of the 15th, where everything comes to a head for the year; followed by December, especially towards the close of the month. Personally, my wish is that none of the dates above will present danger or disaster for President Obama.
G-Man:It’s time to push the envelope, Mr. Strayhorn. This being the case, I’d like you to really dig deep in your analysis and reveal what the numbers say for the remainder of this year, be it good or bad. Please give me a few numerology predictions for the rest of the year.
Strayhorn: President Obama’s health care package will go through and have some kind of public option, but it could have another name attached to it. The US economy will undergo a tremendous change for the better and the signs of it will be evident as we go along. Beyonce and Jay-Z may announce a new, little addition to their musical family.
G-Man:What would you say to those who regard numerology as a bogus science?
Strayhorn: In the early stages of my numerology career, I would have reacted to that label, “bogus science”. Actually, nothing could be further from the truth. After many years of study and reading perhaps thousands of people over the course of time, I would describe numerology as an “exact science”, if anything. In my experience, those who mislabel n numerology this way are usually the most misinformed. And if you were to ask them if that’s the case, why has the subject of numerology been around for such a long, long time! I doubt if any subject, which is considered hundreds of thousands of years old, could last this long being bogus. What do you think? (Smiling)

The fact that people are looking for other modalities in problem solving matters nowadays is also an indicator.
