Americans Against Antisemitism Launches Millennial-Focused Women's Committee

By Dov Hikind

We are pleased to announce the creation of a Women's Committee within Americans Against Antisemitism focused on engaging and empowering millennials all across America. Inna Vernikov, Esq. has been appointed as the Chairwoman of the newly formed committee and Mazal Barton will serve as Vice Chair.

"We are extremely excited to launch our WCAAA. I can think of no one better than Inna Vernikov to spearhead our new initiative to inspire and empower Millennial females from around the country to fight back against Antisemitism," said National Director Bryan E. Leib.

“I’m incredibly grateful to have been appointed Chairperson of the Women’s Committee for AAA,” said Vernikov. “Together with my group of loud and proud female voices, I am confident that we will change the climate of antisemitism that has infested our country. The fight against antisemitism is a global concern and we hope to reach hearts and minds of not just Jewish Americans, but all Americans.”

The Women’s Committee for Americans Against Antisemitism (“WCAAA”) was created to counter the rising tide of antisemitic hatred engulfing the country. Under the umbrella of Americans Against Antisemitism, a group founded by former Assemblyman Dov Hikind, WCAAA’s core mission is to empower female voices from every race, religion and nationality to organize, act, and speak with a unified voice against antisemitism. Through our vibrant community and resolute female leadership, WCAAA will combat antisemitism by building bridges, educating the general public, fostering meaningful relationships with minority communities and through grassroots civic engagement.

The committee will meet on a monthly basis and has pledged to hold 6 community events in 2020. In addition, the following committees were created and assigned lay leaders: Social Media, Community Engagement, Fundraising and Events.
