NATO Calls for 'Restraint and De-Escalation' Amid Tensions Between U.S., Iran

Global News: NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said on Monday that all members of the Atlantic alliance stood behind the United States in the Middle East, after a U.S. drone strike killed Iranian military commander Qassem Soleimani.

Stoltenberg urged both sides to pursue a path of de-escalation but insisted it was still the position of the NATO member countries that Iran can never possess a nuclear weapon.
