Global News: Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland on Friday spoke about the
ongoing political situation in Venezuela, saying there is an
"international convergence' around a peaceful transition in power and
that Cuba has a "part to play."
Freeland said interim Venezuelan president Juan Guaido has addressed the
Lima Group, of which Canada, is a part, about the ongoing political
turmoil in his country and that Canada's goal is to find a peaceful
resolution to the crisis.
