Global News: Two journalists were freed on Tuesday in Myanmar after spending more than 500 days in jail and reunited with their families.
Video shows the pair, Wa Lone and Kyaw Soe Ooo, walking free after being
released before eventually reuniting with their families in a separate
location.
The pair had been convicted in September of breaking the Official
Secrets Act in a case that sparked an outcry from diplomats and human
rights advocates.
Before they were arrested in December 2017, they had been working on an
investigation into the killing of 10 Rohingya Muslim men and boys by
security forces and Buddhist civilians.
