Attorney General Jeff Sessions delivered opening remarks at the Justice Department’s
day-long forum on free speech on college campuses. Attorney General
Sessions said “suppression of competing voices is not the American way”
and emphasized that his department would stand up to college and
university campuses that are trying to limit free speech. Other speakers
in this portion included Acting Associate Attorney General Jesse
Panuccio and Acting Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights John
Gore.
