Three Women’s March Leaders Back Jumaane Williams in Bid for City Council Speaker Seat

Three leaders of the Women’s March on Washington are backing Jumaane Williams in his bid for City Council Speaker.

Co-Chairwomen Linda Sarsour, Tamika Mallory and Carmen Perez wrote an open letter calling the Speaker-contender “someone who will march with us in the streets and fight for us in City Hall.”
