During the National Action Network's (NAN) weekly rally on November 25, Rev. Sharpton will discuss his scheduled visit to Meek Mill on November 27 as a continuation of NAN’s criminal justice reform efforts.
In the
1990’s, Rev. Sharpton
and others helped Tupac Shakur get out of solitary confinement at the
request of his mother, and NAN has been monitoring other civil rights cases across the
country.
The rally will take place at 10 a.m. at 106 West 145th Street and Malcolm X Boulevard in Harlem.
The event will be broadcast on WLIB 1190 AM, the NAN website, and the IMPACT Television Network.
