President Trump spoke today with Prime Minister Theresa May of the United
Kingdom to convey his sympathies and prayers for those injured in
the terrorist attack today in London. The President pledged to
continue close collaboration with the United Kingdom to stop attacks
worldwide targeting innocent civilians and to combat extremism.
On September 14, President Trump spoke with President Enrique Peña Nieto of Mexico
to extend his condolences for the lives lost and homes destroyed due to
the earthquake
and Hurricane Katia. The President expressed solidarity with the
government and people of Mexico as both our countries respond to the
recent spate of natural disasters. President Trump and President Peña
Nieto both emphasized the continued need to work
together on issues of mutual interest, including responding to natural
disasters.
