Mississippi Republican Senator Roger Wicker says the president's
privatization plan for the nation's air traffic control system "is a
tough sell" in states like his, where small airports are common. "The
sale needs to be made, and it needs to be made convincingly," he says.
Secretary Elaine Chao responds that the plan will help reduce fees for general
aviation, adding that she is concerned about the potential impact on
rural America.
