real estate developer Carl Paladino continues to face outcry and
criticism over his derogatory comments about the president and first
lady in December.
In response to a survey sent to local business owners, Paladino said he wished Obama would die
of mad cow disease, and suggested that Michelle Obama should be let
loose in Zimbabwe to live with a gorilla. The comments have been widely
panned as offensive and racist.
Now, a new website
encourages Western NY residents to not only protest Paladino, but
boycott any businesses or buildings associated with his company,
Ellicott Development.
BoycottPaladino.com features a video with news clips of Paladino's
most controversial comments over the years, and attempts to consolidate
everything an opponent would want to know about Paladino, and highlight
his influence in the local community.
