As the numbers came in on Election Night, supporters of Hillary
Clinton appeared stunned — some with tears in their eyes, others looking
devastated as they left early from events that they hoped would be
celebrations.
"Oh my gosh, I keep looking up at the glass
ceiling and it's still just solid," Julie Griffin, a mother from
Ossining, New York, said. She described her feelings as "shock and
disappointment" and "incredible sadness."
NBC News called the presidential race for Donald
Trump just after 3 a.m. ET. But Clinton had called to concede to Trump
at around 2:30 a.m ET.
