ALBANY - The state Department of Motor Vehicles processed a record
214,000 online voter registration applications during the first two
weeks of October, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Monday.
The automated online system
added 214,356 online applications, including 122,147 from first-time
voters between Oct. 1 and Oct. 14, according to Cuomo’s office.
The enrollment numbers surpassed September’s tally of 140,602 total applications, 78,432 of which were from first-time voters.
