Law enforcement officials, immigration scholars, and a man whose son
was murdered testify at a House Judiciary subcommittee hearing on
proposed changes to immigration laws, including cuts to federal grants
for so-called "sanctuary cities".
Sanctuary cities are jurisdictions around the country that have polices
to shelter illegal immigrants and do not use local resources to enforce
federal immigration laws.
