Harvard University’s Gary Samore talked about the June 30, 2015, deadline for a nuclear deal
with Iran. At the time of the program Secretary of State John Kerry and
leaders from other P5+1 nations were meeting with Iranian officials in
Vienna, Austria, to try to complete an agreement.
Among other topics
Mr. Samore discussed the obstacles to reaching an agreement, recent
comments by Iran’s supreme leader, and what might happen if a deal is
not reached.
Carol Morello, speaking by phone from Vienna, talked about the status of negotiations.
