Tom Metzger, a native of Warsaw, Indiana, was born there in April of 1938. He has six children, five girls and a son, and nine grandchildren. His wife Kathy passed away in 1992 after a bout with cancer, ending what Metzger describes as "28 years of happy marriage." He relocated back to Warsaw in 2006 after spending 45 memorable years in California, where he worked in the electronics field, including five years with Douglas Aircraft on the Apollo Project.
In the 1950's, Metzger served in the Army Signal Corp and was stationed in Europe. Although an avid supporter of the right to keep and bear arms, he was and is an outspoken opponent of "America's wars and imperial policies." He protested the Vietnam War as a Tax Resister by refusing to pay Federal income taxes, which led to numerous confrontations with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
After an early stint with the Republicans, Metzger joined the American Independent Party, supporting George Wallace, and then Congressman John Schmitz for president. He then led the California Ku Klux Klan from 1975 to 1980, when he created the White Aryan Resistance -- W.A.R. -- which in 2005 evolved into his non-membership association, "THE INSURGENT".
Having experienced Protestant, Catholic and Christianity Identity forms of religion, Metzger now considers himself a non-religious Free Thinker. He has held negotiations with both the New Black Panthers and Minister Louis Farrakhan, and has lectured twice in Tokyo (1993 and 1999) as an honored guest of the Japanese nationalists.
Riots can break out when Tom Metzger speaks about Race and Reason (also the name of his long-time running TV program), which he believes are instigated by "the usual suspects". He has been jailed in the U.S. and Canada for his outspoken beliefs, but never for long, and was once sued for his firm stance on complete Free Speech. Forced to appear before Federal and State grand juries, he has made famous these five words: "I have nothing to say."
Metzger has survived three assassination attempts, one of them a contract hit after he won the 1980 Democratic primary in the nation's most important congressional district. In 1982, he received over 75,000 votes for Senate when Jerry Brown, Gore Vidal and six others ran against him.
Above all, Tom Metzger is one hundred percent content with every battle he has ever fought. This is but a glimpse into over four decades of political and racial activity.
Campaigning is practically underway in the 2012 race for the White House. Recognizing that Tom Metzger and members of the white nationalist movement -- nationwide -- are a part of the electorate, From The G-Man contacted Metzger and offered him an opportunity to discuss a host of issues that are having a significant impact on the country.
The comments and images provided by Metzger may be viewed as extremely offensive by many readers, but in negotiating the terms of this interview, Metzger was assured the First Amendment would be respected. The purpose of this interview is not to fan the flames of hatred, but to initiate a national dialogue on the dire economic and political state of the country, our elected officials, and the future of race relations.
G-Man: For the benefit of those who may not be familiar with the White Aryan Resistance (W.A.R.), could you give an overview of why you created it, what its mission statement is, and why Americans should take the organization seriously?
Metzger: White Aryan Resistance was a voluntary, non-membership association that I created in 1980 upon resigning from the California KKK, of which I was leader. That year, I ran for U.S. Congress in the 43rd District as the Democrat nominee, receiving over 50,000 votes. About six years ago, while still living in California, I created "The Insurgent" to supersede W.A.R.
G-Man: Would you describe W.A.R. as a militia organization? If not, how does it differ?
Metzger: W.A.R. was not a militia, and neither is The Insurgent, which is also a non-membership, non-dues paying association of individuals concerned with the well being of the white working class. No formal meetings, parades, or demonstrations are sponsored. Associates are often referred to as lone wolves, and wear no uniforms, etc. There is rare one-on-one contact, but most communication is via couriers or e-mail.
G-Man: As the founder of W.A.R., you were invited to speak during a meeting hosted by the New Black Panther Party a couple of years ago. How did this come about and what did you say to them?
Metzger: The leader of the New Black Panthers and I met while guests on the Jerry Springer show in Chicago. The Metzger entourage later drove to Austin, Texas, to attend a New Black Panther party meeting. The basis for dialog with black separatists is simple: we both have axes to grind with the federal government, among others. It's clear that as separatists there's much more to gain through dialog rather than quarreling. New Black Panther party activities which do not directly threaten white communities and neighborhoods are not a problem.
G-Man: What separates you from white supremacists like former radio talk show host Hal Turner, Pastor Thomas Robb, national director of the Knights Party -- an offshoot of the Ku Klux Klan -- or former Ku Klux Klan leader Dr. David Duke?
Metzger: I don't consider myself a white supremacist. Main stream media uses that broad-brush pejorative term to avoid discussing real issues. The only true supremacists are those elites who have the money and power to enforce their views, like capitalist plantation owners in the old South who under-cut the white working class by importing slave labor, and their money men in the northeast. I have known the people you mention personally; however, they are right wingers and I left the right wing by 1980. Some right wingers even label Tom Metzger a 'racial Bolshevik'. Also, most right wingers are religious, whereas I am a free thinker in no way supportive of Judaism, Christianity or Islam. Religion causes much death and destruction in the world. You could call me a racial socialist, or populist.
G-Man: Speaking of Dr. Duke, the former Louisiana representative has posted a video on YouTube indicating he may enter the 2012 presidential race. Would you endorse him if he joined the current list of GOP candidates? If not, is there anyone in the Republican field that you, or those you may have communicated with inside the white nationalist movement, feel is worthy of an endorsement?
Metzger: David Duke reminds me of Harold Stassen from the old days. He was a perennial candidate. Even though, in the mid 70s, I managed Duke's campaign for state Senate in Louisiana, it was not long before I clearly saw that what he advocated on the surface was not what he practiced in private. But we’re way beyond changing things in this country through the vote. Like the left says, "If voting could change things they’d make it illegal!" Some right wing leaders run for office simply to refresh their mailing lists for donations.
G-Man: Based on your conversations with members of the white nationalist movement, nationwide, what is the general consensus on Sarah Palin?
Metzger: I only speak for lone wolves who are associates. The consensus is that Republican candidates are either fools, insane, or megalomaniacs. As for President Obama, he is owned lock, stock and barrel by the same Wall Street corporatists that have been robbing the people for so long. He's a black man, or half black man, who's learned to play the game like whites -- a cheap politician. The Republicans and their handlers will stoke phony racism in an attempt to win in 2012. Right wingers will take the bait again because Obama is black, and again follow a corrupt and evil party against their own best interests. Ever since Republicans cleverly created the Southern Strategy in the 60s they've duped honest racial separatists as their step-and-fetch-its.
G-Man: You launched a campaign bid for Congress back in 2010, as a write-in candidate, to represent Indiana’s Third District Congressional seat, which was held by Mark Souder. As you know, Souder was forced to resign after admitting he had an affair with a staff member. Are you planning to make another run? If so, what issues will you focus on?
Metzger: No, I don’t see myself running for office again. It sends the wrong message to my loyal people. That message is "I still have confidence in the U.S. federal government", which I don’t. I ran as a write-in independent candidate, which of course is folly. In Indiana, even to run as a Democrat is folly. Indiana is a one-party state totally controlled by corporatist anti-labor, anti-union forces. (See my "POLITICAL POSITIONS" below.)
G-Man: Do you truly believe the majority of people in the state of Indiana, or America, would be inclined to vote, overwhelmingly, for a candidate that created a “White Power” organization?
Metzger: No, I don’t. Not because the legitimate and important positions of the candidate are wrong, but corporate media will smear every aspect of his campaign, striking fear into the public's heart. Make no mistake, there are millions of white people in this country who would opt for racial separation if it came to a secret plebiscite. Also, in many appearances on black radio shows I've seen more support for racial separation in the black community than from whites.
G-Man: Please give me a brief and uncensored assessment of the following: President Barack Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama, the economy, the Middle East, Rush Limbaugh, Alex Jones, Rachel Maddow, Jews, same sex marriage, the current state of Black America, and interracial dating.
Metzger: Obama is just another Wall Street stooge, not a communist or socialist. He didn’t win, the Republicans lost by nominating a well known corporate hack, who should have been in prison over several crooked business deals he was in. The First Lady's shady background is very well known in Chicago. The economy is still slipping and will continue toward a crash. Eliminate all support for Israel, and any other country in the Middle East that insists on warring on their neighbors. Stop all weapons shipments and deals to all the belligerents. The military-industrial complex must be defanged in this country.

I see Jews collectively as a world problem that’s been going on for many centuries, especially their world leadership now through B'NAI B'RITH and international banking. Their hands are bloody from all the wars in memory.
The Middle East insanity is a perfect example why both George Marshall and Eisenhower urged Washington not to recognize Israel. Unfortunately, even at that time the Israel lobby was very strong. Now it's a Frankenstein monster. Same-sex marriages? Let them be as miserable as so many regular marriages are, and watch the courts become inundated with new divorce actions. Some blacks, and more than token numbers now, have been promoted over white people at mid-levels, and occasionally to top positions. But the bulk of the black race is not much better off than they were 50 years ago. Interracial dating should be discouraged by both black and white parents. In the long run, there is no benefit from it.
G-Man: With regard to immigration, what do you suggest be done to deal with the problem?
Metzger: On the basis of population alone, immigration should be curtailed. Even high gas prices are tied to increased population. More immigration means more stress is placed on the environment and the food supply. If we have a major crop failure in this country there will be mass starvation right here at home.
G-Man: A few years ago, I conducted an exclusive interview with Hal Turner -- who was convicted and now sits in a federal prison after calling for the execution of three federal judges during one of his Internet radio broadcasts. In that interview, and on the CNN network, Turner proclaimed the only way to deal with the surge in Black crime in America was to return to the old days... and “start lynching niggers”. Do you and others within the movement share this view?
Metzger: Hal Turner was a right wing FBI stooge for money. All his words were formulated by the FAMOUS BUT INCOMPETENT. If they had not wanted it said it would not have been said. The war will break out between the 'haves' and the 'have-nots', similar to the great story by Jack London, "The Iron Heel". Smart folks will not be hanging blacks but the major oppressors at the top. The Klan in the South made the mistake of blaming conditions on poor blacks rather than the greedy leaders above the scene that rob both sides. Of course, Blacks who single out Whites and White neighborhoods will be dealt with, and also the reverse.
G-Man: On a scale of one to ten, how likely is it that a major race war will erupt heading into 2012?
Metzger: At first, there will be no race war. It will be a general uprising against the system, by the have-nots against the Oligarchy, which will include elements of all races and political divisions. Once the unindicted war criminals, the economic criminals, along with the corrupt Congressmen and Senators, are pulled by their feet into the streets and hung, the issue of Race will be negotiated.
G-Man: I’m sure you have grandchildren that you dearly love. Having said that, wouldn’t you want them to be able to grow up and live in a country that promotes equality, love and unity among the races, as opposed to calling for separatism and proclaiming hatred for other races? Don’t you think the economic times we live in demand the latter, since we’re all in this together?
Metzger: I do what I do precisely because I love my children and my grandchildren. I love my extended family, which is my white European race. Institutions and individuals who promote the nonsense of (the completely refutable idea of) 'equality' are living the lie. If people stop watching TV long enough to be reasoned with, to look around themselves for 'equality', they will find there is none! Another concept that has led us astray is 'rights' -- because there is no such thing! Privileges are granted by the state, and the state can take them away faster than they were given. The abstract term 'rights' and the foolish idea that this abstract thing comes from some kind of God, has helped destroy this nation. Only a balance of power can work.
The concepts of 'rights' and 'equality', along with 'religion', are used as social control mechanisms for the masses. 'Hate' and 'love' are a two edged sword -- one is not possible without the other. To love friends and hate enemies is normal. By the way, racial separation does not automatically equate to 'hate'. In fact, it often decreases the inclination for either emotion, hate or love!
To misunderstand these simple concepts is to play the fool. A major crash and lack of oil may be the best thing in the long run for people to learn what Third Worlders already know: Americans have been too soft for too long.

2. Enable Sovereign Credit to rebuild Infrastructure, beginning with Railroads, Bridges, Highways, and the Power Grid. Seize the Federal Reserve for these and other National Funding purposes.
3. Close most offshore military installations, eliminate the occupation of foreign lands, and cut the Defense (WAR) Budget at least 50%. Shift those credits to Infrastructure Development.
4. Eliminate Foreign Aid. Shift those credits to Infrastructure Development.
5. Eliminate ALL immigration into this country, legal or illegal. Eliminate 'Dual Citizenship'.
6. Severely punish Companies and Corporations that hire Illegal Aliens, with added emphasis (hard prison time) upon Executives who knowingly do so.
7. Employ Sherman Antitrust and similar laws upon monopolistic Corporations. Eliminate the Corporate 'Person'.
8. Seize assets of Companies and Corporations that destroy the physical environment, with added emphasis (hard prison time) upon Executives who knowingly do so.
Immediately seize the assets of British Petroleum and imprison all Executives involved in the events leading to and exacerbating the Gulf Oil Disaster.
9. Empower the 50 States to regain their individual sovereignty. Empower offshore holdings to gain their Independence.

I see little difference between him and the "right wing" he blasts. Leaders that pass along mistaken beliefs as facts, despite those facts not being based on reality.
So many politicians use the lie tactic; told over and over, the lie becomes "true" even though it never was. As citizens we have to work so much harder to discern the truth about who did or said thus and such.
I guess it is too much to ask of our leaders to exhibit maturity with a moral obligation to the people, to be honest.
That said, because this man may believe some of those falsehoods he said during the interview to be true.

I am for peaceful coexistence of native born whites and blacks, however in separate neighborhoods if they so choose. Right now you can't organize any separation at all, Civil rights laws makes all such cooperative housing arrangements illegal. There is only one color in Amerikwa- green. Whites or blacks with a good healthy sense of ethnicity are demonized. We should be respectful of one another while still allowing for racial feeling inside the group.
