Senators Tim Scott (R-SC) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC) spoke on the eve of
the anniversary of the Charleston, South Carolina, shooting and the
unity such tragedy fosters. June 17, 2016, marked the one-year
anniversary of the shooting at Emmanuel African Methodist Episcopal
Church in Charleston, South Carolina, in which nine people died.
