The Office of Governor Andrew Cuomo: Governor Cuomo today announced that New York State is now
offering a free text message program to help kids quit e-cigarettes as
the state moves to reverse the alarming rise in youth vaping. Health
Commissioner Dr. Howard Zucker unveiled this initiative yesterday at a
#NoVapeNY rally along with the Long Island Council on Alcoholism and
Drug Dependence, New York State PTA and Parents Against Vaping
E-cigarettes at the Wheatley School, a public high
school in Old Westbury, Long Island. It is the latest action in the
Governor's statewide campaign to end vaping among high school students.
