House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI), along with his leadership team, held a
news conference to discuss the legislative agenda for the week,
including a spending bill to fund the Pentagon and a second round of tax
cuts. The speaker also answered questions about news of the day,
including speculation that President Trump could fire Deputy Attorney
General Rod Rosenstein over a New York Times story and the Supreme Court
nomination process for Judge Brett Kavanaugh in light of sexual
misconduct allegations.
