Senator Sanders to Host Day of Healing / Vigil at Brookville Park

The following statement was provided by Senator James Sanders, Jr. 

"Community leaders and residents are coming together to show support for the families who have suffered loss. We will stand together to denounce all senseless acts of violence and offer encouragement to families and loved ones who are affected. We invite the community-at-large to come out and participate at this Night of Healing as we continue to engage in the larger conversation of how to move forward with addressing the issue of violence and safety in our neighborhoods. We will gather on Sunday, August 20, at 7:00 p.m. in Brookville Park. Please join us and share this event."
