Today, First Lady Melania Trump spoke with Mrs. Brigitte Macron of the
French Republic. Mrs. Trump expressed her condolences for those who
have lost their lives to the coronavirus in France. She also reaffirmed
that the United States stands with the French people and expressed
optimism that we would get through this difficult period together. Mrs.
Trump and Mrs. Macron agreed to stay in touch over the coming days and
weeks as the United States and France work together to defeat the COVID -
19 pandemic.
