UJA Federation: Jews and Non-Jews to Take Part in 'No Hate, No Fear' March in Monsey, Brooklyn and New Jersey

The following statement was submitted by the UJA Federation.

In light of the ongoing and persistent attacks against our community, it's time for us to come together and demonstrate our collective resolve.

To that end, together with UJA-Federation of New York and JCRC-NY, together with ADL-NY, AJC-NY, and the New York Board of Rabbis, are organizing a solidarity march this coming Sunday, January 5th, under the banner "No Hate. No Fear." We will be calling on New Yorkers of all backgrounds to join us. And we very much hope that you will participate and encourage your constituents to march with you as a delegation.

Please gather at 11:00 am at Foley Square in Lower Manhattan for a march across the Brooklyn Bridge, followed by a rally in Columbus Park (near Cadman Plaza).

To help you promote the march, we are attaching the following:

1. A customizable flier that allows you to easily add your logo as a key sponsor. Simply drop it in, save as a PDF, and circulate to your networks, both within and beyond the Jewish community. Note: you may need to resize your logo before placing it in the designated spot.

2. Social media graphic that you can post to your Facebook and Instagram channels. (This graphic meets Facebook's 20% rule.) We have also included some sample post copy, which you can feel free to tailor:

Calling all New Yorkers of goodwill: Join us in Foley Square this Sunday as we say no to hate and fear. Enough is enough. #StandTogether #JewishAndProud

3. Facebook events page that you can post and share with your constituents.

4. Feel free to also include this link to information on the march in your newsletter. We'll be updating this webpage with regularity.

We anticipate a strong showing and greatly appreciate your partnership in this large-scale mobilization effort.

While we strongly encourage mass transit, if you're planning to organize a bus for you constituents, please be in touch with Noam Gilboord so we can advise on drop-off and pick-up locations.

And if you have any questions about marketing materials, please don't hesitate to reach out to Mirm Kriegel.

Many thanks in advance for all of your help here. Your support is vital to making our voices heard across New York.

Best wishes for a peaceful and happy new year.
